Hi all, Just a thx to Jo for getting back to me RE flyball box. Well both my dogs are doing sort of ok with it, they are just picking the ball out with thier teeth and not pressing the base tho....... More practice req at speed i think. Oddly enough my rescue dog Kai is ok with the box , whereas the Rosie ( the one i thought might have been ok with it) does not like the noise of the release mech much.....

Oh well I'll keep trying anyway.

Hope to see you all a FP this spring, can someone email me the dates when known plz, as i would like to sign up asap.

Thanks again Jo.

Regards
Rich and the dogs.

Congratulations Jet, on becoming the first ever American Cocker Spaniel to hold BFA points. I know I'm biased seeing as how you are my 'granddog', but I am very proud of your achievement. Your social skills and your eyesight have made your learning difficult but this makes your achievement even more of a triumph. Next stop FLYBALL DOG.

The pitter patter of tiny paws gets louder and louder in the Fylde Coasters, In the middle of last year came Tia Boxer, joined later by Tasha Boxer - 2 new sisters to Chloe, Trudi and Tes. Megan has a new sister too - Poppy the GSD. One fine weekend saw the arrival of new boy Dillon bro to Jaz and Bonnie. Same weekend and along came Nushka lil'sis to Boo, TJ, Emeris and Quincey. We thought we were puppied out by the time Jethro Sprocker arrived with his Uncle Harvey, Bro Jed and sis Maddi - but would you believe it along comes Bobby Cocker new brother for Tilly. Hope I've not missed anyone out. To my calculation that is 28 new paws. Welcome one and all. Surely if we are gonna make two new starter teams we are 4 paws short............. er.......... Pete.......can I have a word!

Greetings, to visitors to the Fylde Coaster's Website.
Are you a member of The British Flyball Association?
Do you like warm, cosy, mud-free feet?
Our team have recently purchased boots that keeps our toes "toasty" even in the muddiest of conditions.
Philip Stainton of the "Tayberry Muddies Collection" has replied to an email from me, he is delighted that Fylde Coasters have warm feet and a good grip in the mud wearing our new "Muddies".
Philip hadn't heard of Flyball before I contacted him, but having now visited both this and the BFA site he is now looking forward to visiting us in person at a Flyball event.
Meanwhile Philip is happy to offer BFA Flyballer's 20% of a pair of "Muddies" if they ring and place an order directly with his office on 01507 524816. Remember to quote Fylde Coasters British Flyball Association.
View the "Muddies" boots at www.muddies.co.uk

I'd like to formally thank my team mates for their kindness and generosity on the event of my 60th birthday. With your wadge and the proceeds from the "Do", Easterleigh will be quite pleased. Thanks Daniella for the cake and balloon (Harvey was wandering around the house last night unaware that it was attached to his ear). You will all of course now forget that I've turned 60 and let me carry my own chair!

It's ok Pete, after a long wait Sam's race report from the Belle Stars has gone on the Race Report page, Yes, yes it's good for her first one - but even better, guess what ----she hasn't remembered me and you dancing from the ring to the theme tune from Benny Hill - guess we got away with that then - perhaps we didn't look silly after all!!! - It was a bit funny when the music blared out though, do you remember? - Bev was just passing the speaker - she nearly jumped out of her skin!! Any way - just thought I'd post a note to wish the Team and Flyde all well for the Summer Championships.

Hi there, hope you guys are ok, Well done to Emma on her award its fantastic!!!!
Our new life here in the lakes is fantastic I feel better here I am not as worried about life as I was!!!
As you may have noticed there is a new family member of the K9 type that is she's a working cocker and a pain in the bum and I keep tellin her so! but she is only one of the many with 13 sheep to control and 6 chickens with 11 eggs in the incubator, an the 150000 bees working away its very busy, and being the oldest I have to make sure they are all ok.
Well keep up the good work,
I will update soon, (arn't I clever using the internet when mums out!!)

Guess what everyone - I've got points, yes its true after all this time, when my Mum said I'd always be a starter dog (oh she of little faith!), I ran with the big boys Emery's, Jed and Harvey at Mottram St Andrews and following their fine example I ran without the netting and earned 8 points. So only another 192 to get then which may sound alot but the way I look at it.......just think of the sausages!

Les, I too had noticed your photo has gone, its a good one of you with the some of the other team members though on the front page . What a super action shot of Harvey, wonder if he knows he's famous - he may demand more sausages if he finds out he's a pin up! The web site looks fab, well done to those who put all the hard work in - I echo one of the previous comments - its great that its kept so up to date. The new frames are really bright and interesting, team colours ..... excellent. By the way Les even if your picture has been shifted I only have to look at my 2005 Calender and who do you think is the March pin up!!!!

I so enjoyed playing on Monday night, my Mum said I did really well. All I know is that everytime I gave her a ball she gave me some pork chop or hot dog sausage. I thought it was a good deal. I can't understand that new brother of mine though, he just does the jumping bit and the getting the ball bit without bothering if he gets fed for his trouble. I don't know - the puppies of today - they'll just do something for nothing instead of holding out for the treats, talk about letting the side down.
